No, it's not too early to start thinking about Christmas. I know it's only October (as of this writing) but it seems that every year the stores are gearing up for Christmas earlier and earlier. So there is no reason for you not to do the same. What's that you say? You don't do a Christmas package? Well, after you read this article, you might feel differently about it. Keep reading to understand why.

Christmas is without a doubt the slowest time of the year for many niches in Internet marketing, especially the make money niches. People are out buying presents and other items for the holidays and the last thing that's on their mind is buying something that's going to make them money, even though after they're done shopping they're going to need that money. That's why January is such a busy time for marketers. Everybody is scrambling to find ways to pay for all those gifts.

But the truth still remains...very few people buy just before the holidays. So, we have to give them a reason to buy. That's where the Christmas package comes in. What exactly is the Christmas package? Well, it can be just about anything. But there is one thing that it MUST be...a BARGAIN. That's right. Whatever it is that you're selling, it has to be for less than you would sell it for at any other time of the year. And when I say less, I don't mean just a few dollars less. I mean MUCH less. For example, let's suppose you have a package that normally sells for $97. To make this a truly attractive Christmas package offer, you're going to want to sell it for at least half off. I normally sell my $97 products for around $47 when Christmas time comes.

What do you think happens when I do this? I'll tell you. I start making sales like mad...sales that I normally would NOT have made if I tried to sell the same package for the regular price.

Many people look at this as lost revenue. I do not. I look at it as money that I normally would not have gotten had I not reduced the price for the holidays. And that's money that I can now use for new advertising and new products for the coming year.
