Which place is better destinaion for a beach holiday of 5 nights -Majorca or Gran canaria?

Is there any site to book a budget tour for a week? I would appreciate if someone can list out things to do in Majorca/Gran canaria.

For golden sands and, during the good weather, gentle lapping of waves on a golden beach and weather nice and warm in the summer months, you should choose Majorca. For heavier seas and probably black sand or at least very grey and a lot hotter in the summer months then Gran Canaria is the choice.
